In housed data center or cloud located in vendor  hosted Electronic Health Record(EHR)/Electronic Life Record (ELR) Commerical Off the Shelf (COTS) software solution which will be used by DAD 12 State Supported Living Centers (SSLCs).

The New York State Balancing Incentive Program Innovation Fund

The establishment of the BIP Innovation Fund is intended to support programs offering service solutions that align with this preference and foster community inclusion. Therefore, the BIP Innovation Fund offers a unique opportunity to engage New York’s broad network of highly qualified providers, advocates and community leaders in developing systemic improvements that address barriers encountered when providing community-based LTSS across all populations of Medicaid beneficiaries in New York State. Innovation Fund grants were awarded on a competitive basis.

Maine Single Assessing Agency

The State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Aging and Disability Services, seeks a single assessing agency to perform standardized face-to-face assessments for the purpose of determining service eligibility and support needs for a number of MaineCare and state-funded programs.  In accordance with State procurement practices, the Department is hereby announcing the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) #201306548 for the purchase of the aforementioned statewide, single assessing agency services.


Illinois Uniform Assessment Tool

The purpose of this initiative is for the State of Illinois, Office of Management and Budget, in conjunction with the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Department of Human Services (DHS), and the Department on Aging (DoA) to collect information and data to assist in the acquisition of a Uniform Assessment Tool (UAT) (also known as a "Core Standardized Assessment"). The UAT will also serve as the functional eligibility assessment for Illinois home and community-based and institutional program of Long- Term Supports and Services (LTSS) and will replace the state’s current Determination of Need (DON) tool.

Mississippi Long-Term Services and Supports Information and Tracking System

The State of Mississippi, Office of the Governor, Division of Medicaid (DOM) issues this request for proposals (RFP) to solicit offers from experienced vendors to assist DOM in meeting the requirements of the Balance Incentive Program (BIP). DOM seeks responsible vendors to provide an interactive, web-based, No-Wrong-Door Information and Tracking System that coordinates care, increases access to Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), and incorporates Core Standardization Assessment Instruments, Conflict-free Case Management services, and Electronic Visit Verification capability.


Texas ADRC Expansion

Fourteen ADRCs serve Texans today, and the program will expand with a request for proposals (RFP) in June, 2013, which will fund six to nine new ADRCs to provide full statewide coverage as result of Texas receiving a Balancing Incentive Program award.


Ohio Case Management and Comprehensive Assessment

This request for quotations (RFQ) by the Ohio Department of Medicaid solicits a new integrated system that supports the assessment operations of multiple organizations as well as all components of case management and provider oversight for the administration of HCBS waiver programs. Ohio seeks to take advantage of current technology opportunities to lower infrastructure burden, streamline reporting, analytics, and dashboards, as well as expand data sharing goals. Key objectives of the RFQ include automating workflows, application of determination logic, and efficient distribution of data and tasks across programs and functional areas independent of organizational membership. 


Iowa Core Standardized Assessments for Community Long-Term Services and Supports

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals that will enable the Department of Human Services Agency to select the most qualified contractor to develop methodologies and conduct Core Standardized Assessments CSAs for Community Long-Term Services and Supports, as required by the Balancing Incentive Program BIP and Iowa law. 

The inclusion of CSA requirements in the BIP is intended to promote choice and equity for consumers, reduce administrative burdens, and allow for the capture of standardized data that may be used to project future service/support needs and prioritize individuals for services as appropriate. Legislation enacted in 2013 requires the use of the Supports Intensity Scale for assessment of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and calls for identification and implementation of appropriate tools for additional populations.


Texas and Developmental Disability Assessment Instrument

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) announces the issuance of Request for Information (RFI) # 539-4-93276 for evaluating nationally recognized, comprehensive assessment instruments or an inter- related group of assessment instruments that the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) may pilot and, based on the results of the pilot, may subsequently implement statewide to assess individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
